One of the countries in Southeast Asia, it is home to various types of culture and this is what makes Malaysia so interesting to explore.

Buddhist temples or skyscrapers and busy markets can be easily found alongside colonial architecture or Malay buildings. Apart from that, there are also a number of attractive beautiful landscapes bordering the cities in Malaysia itself.

With its diverse cultural heritage, appetizing culinary delights, and friendly people, this neighboring country often becomes a tourist destination for many people.

But actually, apart from the things mentioned above, there are many other interesting things about Malaysia that are worth exploring, such as its history from the past to its development today.

So, so that you don’t get even more curious, here we have discussed some interesting things about Malaysian images especially for you.

History of Malaysia

Actually, Malaysian history is related to Indonesian history. Yes, the neighboring country was founded with its oldest parent kingdom being in Malacca.

Meanwhile, the founder of Malacca himself was a prince from Sumatra, namely Bumi Sriwijaya. The Malaysian peninsula has turned into a major trade center in the Southeast Asia region, due to the development of trade between India, China and other countries through the Malacca Strait.

In the early 15th century, the Malacca sultanate was first founded by a dynasty of princes from Palembang. The kingdom lasted for more than a century.

During this period, Islam spread throughout the Malay Archipelago. Malacca itself is a trading port located in the middle of the trade route between China and India.

In 1511, Portugal made Malacca a colony with military force and succeeded in ending the Malacca Sultanate.

However, the last Sultan managed to escape to Kampar in Sumatra and he died there. Meanwhile, one of his sons went to the northern part of the Malaysian Peninsula and he founded the Perak Sultanate in that region.

Meanwhile, his other sons went to the south of the peninsula and then made their capital there. This kingdom is a continuation of the old Malacca Sultanate, which is now better known as the Johor Sultanate.

The Present

Over time, this neighboring country is now developing very rapidly. Even though it is relatively young, Malaysia has achieved a lot of progress both in terms of the economy, poverty alleviation, development and providing employment opportunities.

Not only advanced in the economic field, but also in politics, social, psychology, spirituality, national and social unity.

Not only that, based on the AT Kearney report, this neighboring country is on the list of 15 main countries for investment purposes, and ranks third in the world as an ” outsourcing ” location.

The kingdom or government has also built many educational facilities and facilities and facilitated education costs with various subsidies.

This is done with the aim of them being able to master science – master technology, so that professional resources will continue to be guaranteed.

At noon

Just like other big cities in the world, during the day in Negeri Serumpun it is also filled with various busy activities.

However, that doesn’t mean there is nothing interesting about this city during the day. The view is also no less charming to enjoy.

If you walk to the cafes along Jalan Bukit Bintang, they all have their own decoration. This is done to attract the attention of tourists passing by.

However, it is not much different from Jakarta, this city also presents traffic jams, where hundreds of cars have to move slowly.

The difference is, in this neighboring country it is very rare to see motorbikes. Because local residents rely more on public transportation for traveling.

At night

It seems that the beauty of Malaysian cities can not only be enjoyed during the day. Even at night, many tourists visit exotic places there.

Apart from visiting the Twin Towers, quite a few were also seen walking along Bukit Bintang Street which is filled with restaurants and sellers of souvenirs and local specialties.

From Above Height

Not only is it charming during the day and at night, Malaysia, with its capital having moved to Putra Jaya, also offers a panorama that is no less beautiful when viewed from above.

And the right choice to witness its beauty from above is to visit the Petronas Towers which is an icon of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

From the tower, you can see views of Kuala Lumpur from hundreds of meters high. It’s not legal to visit a neighboring country if you haven’t visited the Petronas Towers.

As far as the eye can see, we can see a sea of skyscrapers in Malaysia, especially in Kuala Lumpur and everything seems to be within our grasp.

Tourist attraction

It seems that there is nothing unattractive about Malaysia, almost all of its cities offer beauty that is pleasing to the eye, from Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru, Penang, Melaka, Khucing to Sarawak.

And here are some quite famous tourist attractions in Malaysia, apart from the Petronas Towers.

1. Batu Caves

At this tourist spot, visitors can enjoy the natural views of Batu Caves as well as Hindu temple buildings and art galleries.

Not only that, here visitors can also witness the annual Thaipusam festival directly or see the activities of one of the primates, namely monkeys.

And to be able to enjoy all these things, visitors are not charged a penny, aka it’s free. So, make sure to visit it!

2. Jalan Alor

Jalan Alor is located in Kuala Lumpur and is a famous tourist attraction because it offers various types of food, which will make your stomach full to death.

There is no need to doubt the taste of the food here because almost everything is delicious when it lands on your tongue. The food prices are very pocket friendly.

3. Bukit Bintang

Well, this tourist spot is called New York-style Times Square by Malaysian people. This area is famous for its various entertainment and shopping centers which are never empty of visitors.

Not only foreign tourists, local people often come here to shop for branded goods at low prices.

4. Putra Jaya Bridge

The Putra Jaya Bridge, which is a Malaysian icon, is a masterpiece of art that can amaze many people because it is decorated with attractive lights so it looks perfect and beautiful.

If you want to visit it, it is recommended to come at night because there will be more beautiful moments that can be immortalized. There are lots of interesting photo spots around it too, so for those of you who like hunting for cool photos, don’t miss visiting them!

So, that’s a brief review of images of Malaysian cities. So, is it still incomplete? If so, let’s fly there straight away, so you can get to know it better!
